The xButler is a software product that allows you to manage all your X-10 compatible automation devices from a central (mobile) device. The best part is that you can do it from anywhere! xButler uses the Internet to connect you to your home. So as long as you have an Internet connection, the possibilities are endless.

HOW DOES IT WORK?
xButler software consists of server and client components that may run either on a single computer or on different devices. When running on a single PC/Pocket PC xButler allows you to control both X10 and IR devices from a central "command post", to set timer for each X10/IR-device, to build macros, to easily and visually create sophisticated scenarios for handling events, using such techniques as conditional branching and looping. You may, for example, order xButler to turn on the lights at your front door in response to triggering of a motion detector from dusk till 11:00 pm and to activate your alarm system if motion detected from 11:00 pm till 5:00 am.
When server and cliend components of xButler run on different computers, you can do all above from a remote Desktop/Pocket PC with Internet connection.
