StrongFolder allows users to create new documents and folders and to define access rights to these. You can create your types of documents (for example: fax, report, news, etc.) and additional fields for new or existing documents (for example: person in charge, compiled by, author, company, date, etc.).
- Review of documents.
StrongFolder client software allows users to preview the most widespread types of documents (doc, xls, gif, jpg, txt, etc.).
- Saving documents.
Using StrongFolder, you can upload documents to the server or download it to the local computer with possibility to suspend, stop or continue these processes, as well as to save these document to the disk.
- Search.
StrongFolder performs search of documents by the title of the document or filename, by the type of document, by date of creation, and based on the contents of the document fields.
- Copying and making links.
StrongFolder allows to create copy of the document or make a link for any existing document. Making a copy involves creating a physical copy of the document, while making a link is reduced to creating a new shortcut of the document.
- Access rights.
The document/folder is characterized by definite access rights specified for each user group. StrongFolder makes it possible to change the access rights on reading, recording and deleting of a document/folder. The document/folder is not shown to the user that does not have the access rights on reading, recording and deleting the respective information.
- Collaborative access.
StrongFolder allows to execute simultaneous and shared multiuser work with documents.
